On the morning of February 6, 2014 the comets C2012 X1 (LINEAR) and C2013 R1 (LOVEJOY) were at about 2° apart from each other. This is quite a rare case of apparent approaching of two comets. This 2 panel mosaic displays them at 5:40 LT (3:40 UT). Each panel is a 2 min. LRGB composition.
