NGC 1579 (Sh2-222), IC 2067 -nebulae in Perseus

NGC 1579 (other designations: Sh 2-222, LBN 767, DG 34, Bernes 70, Ced 35, [SS62] 19, LBN 165.38-08.73, LkHa 101, Magakian 70, I 217, h 315, GC 853 ) is a diffuse nebula located in the constellation of Perseus. It is called Northern Trifid because of its similar appearance to the Trifid Nebula. Discovered in 1788 by William Herschel, it is a H II region, a region of star formation. NGC 1579 lies within a giant molecular cloud known as the California Molecular Cloud. Some other nebulae can be seen on this image (see annotated map). The most prominent of them is IC 2067 (or DG 35, Bernes 69, Ced 36, [SS62] 20, Magakian 71). Below is a smaller FOV image taken on 13, 14 and 17 August 2012:
