NGC 6820, NGC 6023, Sh2-86 in Vulpecula

NGC 6820 is a NGC 6820 is a diffuse emission nebula in a star forming region situated some 6,000 light-years away in the constellation of in Vulpecula. It surrounds the relatively young open star cluster, NGC 6823. This nebula and cluster are embedded in a large H II region, catalogued as Sh 2-86.
