VdB 41 is a small reflection nebula visible in the constellation Taurus. It is located in the northwest of the star ζ Tauri, half way between the two stars of fifth magnitude 114 and 118 Tauri. It is a very weak gas filament which wraps HD 244068, a spectral class F and magnitude 10.0 star, which imparts to a whitish color of the nebula. The measurement of the parallax indicates a value of 82.5 mas , which corresponds to a distance of only 12 parsecs (39 light-years). According to these data, this is one of the stars shrouded by nebulosity closer to the Solar System.
