Milky Way

This three panel mosaic shows the Milky Way from horizon to horizon. Hovering the mouse over the thumbnails will show an annotated version: - the red line is the limit of visibility for ca. 42° northern latitude. This is approximately the latitude of IRIDA Observatory. All objects below this line are invisible from there. There are two versions of this mosaic: horizontal and vertical. For the vertical version please first hover over the thumbnails, then scroll down. Using the fullscreen mode (Windows users should press F11) is reccomended.
