Sh 2-16 (RCW 137, Gum 70), Sh 2-17 (RCW 138), Sh 2-18 (RCW 139), Sh 2-19 (RCW 140) and Sh 2-20 (RCW 141) are part of the Sh 2-15 to Sh 2-20 complex of HII regions located in the Sgr OB5 association in the Sagittarius arm.
