Comet C/2020M3 (ATLAS) on 1.01.2021 near Capella

The comet C/2020 M3 (ATLAS) was discovered on June 27th 2020 by Asteroid Terrestrial-Impact Last Alert System (ATLAS) search program. At the time of discovery the comet had 18.8 mag. This image shows the comet on January 1st at 17:30 UT, when the comet was near the 0.08 mag star Capella (α Boo)
