VdB 112 - reflection nebula in Ophiuchus

VdB 112 is very small yellow-red reflection nebula in the constellation Ophiuchus. It is visible exactly in the centre of the image and is illuminated by the star BD -05 4524. Paralax measurements place the star-nebula complex at about 13 parsecs (42 l.y). Dark clouds just above VdB 112 are the dark nebula LDN 421.
