This image shows an area of about 2° x 1.3° in the constellation Sagittarius. Several objects can be found here (see annotation mouseover). Among them are the famous Swan (omega) nebula, also known as Messier 17 or NGC 6618; the open cluster Messier 18, and two tiny reflection nebulae VdB 120 and VdB 121.
